Blanket Sunday – January 19

When disasters strike, when temperatures drop, when sidewalks become home, our sister & brothers
often need help. Church World Services has been our ‘collective’ way to help – 27,275 blankets in
2024. We will be collecting an offering for Blanket Sunday on January 19. Watch for information for
helping supply these basic-needs items.

Food Bank – January 16, Thursday, 8 – 10 a.m.

We will be volunteering as a team packing food boxes. It’s early (lol); a little work, a LOT of fun, and important
community help! Please sign up on sheet in hallway (& then online). Lots of holiday love was given via donations, but
volunteer hours are vital to this work.
• 1 in 5 people in Weld County are going without food today.
• 1 in 4 children in Weld County are struggling with hunger right now.
• 4 for 1 – four meals can be provided for every dollar donated.
• 14.6 million pounds of food were distributed to those in need last year.
