This Saturday, July 11, thousands of Christians around the world will share God’s love through serving others. This year will look different from previous years so that we can all stay safe from the coronavirus. Rather than participating in a large communal event, we encourage everyone to engage in micro serve events as individuals or with your family. Think of ways you can serve friends, family, neighbors or the wider community. Some ideas: weed a neighbor’s garden, send a card or phone someone who is feeling lonely, pick up litter on your street or at a local park, lend a book you’ve enjoyed to a friend, take treats to healthcare workers or first responders, or donate to a good cause.
