Regardless of if you have never been to church before, haven't been in a while, or just haven't been to this church, here is what to expect:

WHEN DOES CHURCH START?

We start our church service at 10:00

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Service usually last 50 minutes to an hour. After service, we have fellowship with cookies, juice and coffee. So plan on staying until at least 11:30.

WHAT DO KIDS DO DURING CHURCH?

Infants will stay in the nursery. Children begin in service while we sing. After a children's song (along with children led dancing), children up to 3rd grade are invited to go to children's church. Those above 3rd grace will stay in the worship service. After service, we all meet back in the Fellowship Hall.

DO YOU HAVE SUNDAY SCHOOL?

We do have Sunday School for children K-6, and for Adults. Sunday School starts at 9:00.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Some members like to dress up, some like to wear sweats with a t-shirt. On any given Sunday, every type of dress is represented.

HOW IS THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH (DISCIPLES OF CHRIST) DIFFERENT?

A Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) service will always include the Lord's Supper. To us, the Lord's Supper is about unity, inclusivity, and love. Therefore, a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is also based on loving all people regardless of social standing, sexual preference, political party, or any of the other many things that keep us separated.

WHAT IS THE LORD'S SUPPER AND HOW DO I TAKE IT?

The Lord's Supper is a time when we eat a morsal of bread and drink a small portion of grape juice in order to remember Jesus together. When entering into the worship service, you will be given a pre-sealed cup with the bread and grape juice inside of it.
